Below is the DIBP Fees (Government Fees) applicable to make a valid Parent Visa Application (effective since July 2017):

   
 COSTEXPLANATION
CONTRIBUTORY PARENT VISA APPLICATION CHARGEsee detailsAll parents applying through the contributory parent visa must make a deposit to the Australian government of AUD$43,600 per adult. This must be paid prior to the granting of the visa.
PARENT VISA APPLICATION CHARGE (SC103)see details

$4,035 – main applicant,

$2,020- partner (and any child over 18) and

$1,010 -each child under 18 years of age

AGED PARENT (ONSHORE SC 804) VISA APPLICATION CHARGEsee details

$4,035 -main applicant,

$2,020 – partner (and any child over 18) and

$1,010 – each child under 18 years of age.

Second installment fee for each applicant prior to visa grant.

MEDICAL EXAMINATIONApprox. $350 per adult and $300 per childThis fee is to be paid for each person included in your visa application and must be paid to the doctor doing your medical tests.
POLICE CHECKSsee detailsThis fee is to be paid to the police authorities in the countries where you have resided for 12 months or more.
TRANSLATION OF DOCUMENTS (IF REQUIRED)see detailsThis fee is payable to the person accountable for certifying / translating your documents.

COST EXPLANATION
MANAGEMENT OF YOUR PARENT VISA BY OUR REGISTERED MIGRATION AGENT $3,500 to $5,500 Your case is managed by our  Migration Registered Migration Agent.
If you have applied for a parent visa that has been rejected, you may still be able to appeal the decision. $1,683 is charged as fee by the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) for an appeal.
