Below given is the fee structure for DIBP (Government Fees) to make a valid a Parent Visa Application (effective July 2017):

CONTRIBUTORY PARENT VISA APPLICATION CHARGEsee detailsAll parents applying through the contibutory parent visa must make a deposit to the Australian government of AUD$43,600 per adult. This must be paid prior to the granting of the visa.
PARENT VISAAPPLICATION CHARGE (SC103)see details

$4,035 – main applicant,

$2,020- partner (and any child over 18) and

$1,010 -each child under 18 years of age

AGED PARENT (ONSHORE SC 804) VISA APPLICATION CHARGEsee details

$4,035 -main applicant,

$2,020 – partner (and any child over 18) and

$1,010 – each child under 18 years of age.

Second installment fee for each applicant prior to visa grant.

MEDICAL EXAMINATIONApprox. $350 per adult and $300 per childThis fee is payable for each person included in your visa application and must be paid to the doctor doing your medical tests.
POLICE CHECKSsee detailsThis fee is payable to the police authorities in the countries where you have lived for 12 months or more.
TRANSLATION OF DOCUMENTS (IF REQUIRED)see detailsThis fee is to be paid to the person responsible for certifying / translating your documents.

COST EXPLANATION
MANAGEMENT OF YOUR PARENT VISA BY A REGISTERED MIGRATION AGENT $3,500 to $5,500 Your case is managed by our  Migration Registered Migration Agent.
If a parent visa lodged by you earlier has been refused, then you may be able to appeal the decision. A fee of $1,683 is charged by the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) as appeal charges.
