Due to the high number of enquiries regarding the Australian visa services to eMigrate for the past few weeks, eMigrate has decided to gather some information you need to know if you or you have a family member in Australia, or plan to come to Australia.
What is COVID-19 (Coronavirus)?
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the newly discovered coronavirus.
Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring any special treatment. Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.

COVID -19 (Coronavirus) and the Australian Border Updates
- From 9pm AEDT 20 March 2020, only Australian citizens, residents and immediate family members can travel to Australia.
- From 12pm AEDT 25 March 2020, Australian citizens and Australian permanent residents are banned from travelling overseas.
